Conseil Magellan de l'International
Since 2004, the Conseil Magellan de l’International (CMI) ensures ongoing dialogue between member companies and the authorities and aims to promote French companies’ international development and to increase France’s attractiveness from an economic point of view.
The Conseil Magellan de l’International, with its separate working groups on international mobility and compensation & benefits, each made up of some 10 members and experts, produces solutions-focused information sheets on subjects related to the issues they face and topical subjects in relation to the authorities.
Among the subjects covered:
- international taxation;
- economic migration;
- international social security;
- international labor law;
- issues faced by accompanying partners;
- problems with health and safety, and schooling for French children abroad;
- the French international internship program (VIE).
