After 20 years’ experience in companies of all sizes, Odile Thesmar, 44 (Essec, London Business School, Université Panthéon Assas), has been cultivating a strategic and operation vision of HR’s challenges in the service of business for 10 years. Specializing in talent management (competencies and career) she will offer member companies her in-depth knowledge of different company practices and of organizational and cultural models, as well as her expertise in community management.

She joined BNP Paribas International Retail Banking’s corporate HR department in 2012 (15 countries, 41,000 employees, 450 talents, 200 senior managers) as manager of HR development projects, managing development of competencies, careers and talents. She also spent 5 years there working on the company’s diversity and inclusion policy, notably setting up mentoring and women in leadership programs.

In 2017, she joined BNP Paribas Personal Finance (22 countries, 17,000 employees, 850 key people, 180 senior managers) as HR strategy and transformation projects manager. A member of the HR board, she was also on the International HR Committee, which she ran alongside the HR director.

In 2020, she joined SGS, a global leader in certification (2,800 people in France and 92,000 worldwide) and headed up learning & development, quality of work life and HR communication. This allowed her to create, among other things, a job and competency mapping, the first essential building block in the group’s future mobility policy, and also implemented a management professionalization program.

Known for her energy, her ability to communicate and to bring people together, Odile will run the International Talent Management Club and the Institut Magellan's training programs .
